About this deal

I understand leaving out the Year One storyline in 404-407 as that story has become a phenomenon unto itself that is somehow separate from the rest of Batman lore despite defining so much of it. I decided to give Jason Todd another look with the purchase of this collection of stories from the late 80s. In some respects, Second Chances forms the first of a "Replacement Robin" trilogy that continues in Batman: Death In The Family and Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying. The collection features all of DC Comics’ most famous heroes including Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman - the most famous superheroes in the world.

Collecting issues written by crime novelist Max Allan Collins, Batman: Second Chances takes something of a back-to-basics approach with the character. The most famous thing about my version of Jason Todd is that fans voted to kill him off, like Andy Kaufman getting voted off SNL by phone. Bruce and Jason (Robin) both voice a desire to see petty criminals die for their transgressions and Batman comes off as a violent thug as opposed to an idealistic crusader.I discovered you through your comics work way back when, so this little glimpse into the background of that world was very interesting to read. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I've heard it said that one of the reasons Jason as Robin was a base breaker was because Dick never accepted Jason having the mantle. I did a final comic-book script about my Mime character that was never produced, but I turned it into a BATMAN short story. Batman is equally rash: one story features him totally mucking up a case because a young blonde socialite who shared his penchant for helping others gets brutally murdered.

Thorne just laughs at the thought and has his thugs take Robin to the Gotham Gate Bridge to throw him into the river. But while Jason shows great potential to be a hero, he is also a troubled young man, consumed with bitterness and anger. In my excitement for James Gunn's upcoming DCU, I've decided to become more involved in my reading of DC Comics. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.
